VALSERRANO GRAN RESERVA 2015
The DOC Rioja appellation Control Board ranked this vintage as VERY GOOD, highlighting the freshness and elegance of the wines, making them suited to long ageing. It was the earliest harvest in recent times and we were able to bring in the entire harvest in September.
Product Description
COLOR: Cherry with medium to high depth of colour and signs of lively evolution around the rim of the glass.
AROMAS: With the glass still, expressive intensity with grassy, herbal notes, eucalyptus, ginger and underlying toasted nuances. When swirled in the glass, wild berries appear with nuances of green tea and reminders of toffee and fine leather.
BOCA: A meaty, fresh attack, then supple and lively as it passes over the palate, with pleasant hints of acidity, herbal and fruit nuances with lactic notes coming through and fine, long tannins in the finish.
